Purpose
The USB to RS485 converter is used to connect a computer via a USB port and devices with an RS485 communication interface. The system allows the connection of up to 256 interface devices to one computer. The RS485 serial interface is galvanically separated from USB, making it safe to use in the industry. The powerful serial driver allows the connection of a large number of devices on the serial bus without the use of an additional repeater (up to 256) and a high communication speed (up to 500 Kbps).
